Welling United 1-2 Gillingham
League One Gillingham knocked Welling United out of the Kent Senior Cup but it was a spirited display from a much changed Wings line up.
As promised Manager Steve King made wholesale changes to the line up to give players needing game time the opportunity to play. The Wings boss will have been pleased with what he saw from one or two of his players and it will have surely given him some food for thought on his team selection ahead of the weekend’s league match with East Thurrock United.
