
VACANCY | Club Secretary
Welling United FC, currently playing in National League South, are looking for a Club Secretary available to start immediately.
All applicants must have experience within a football club and Matchday Secretary role.
The role will be part-time and exact working hours can to a degree be flexible.
Responsibilities:
The position involves liaising with other Football Clubs, The National League and The Football Association.
It is a predominantly administrative role so the individual will need to have good Office 365 skills as well as be adept at using various apps that the Club now has built into its systems.
Applicants are also required to be numerate and comfortable working with figures as they will provide payroll and financial reporting support to the Club’s Accountants.
Main Tasks:
To act as the representative of the Club with the National League in responding to emails in the appropriate time frames.
To produce contracts and non-contract forms for players and management adhering to FA rules and regulations, acquiring the appropriate signatures and processing on the IFAS system.
To ensure all match confirmations are sent to the away teams in advance of all home matches.
To ensure all match confirmations are sent to the officials in advance of all home games.
To ensure all appropriate paperwork is sent to the home team when away in a timely manner.
To ensure the team sheet is filled out correctly and handed to the officials’ 1 hour before kick-off.To produce the club’s team sheet and print out and distribute to the relevant areas.
To upload completed team sheets to IFAS within the time frame set by the league.
To count and account for all money taken through the turnstiles on a match day.
To ensure the matchday finance form is completed and forwarded to board members when completed.
On home games to oversee and establish financial data from our use of I Zettle and TicketCo app and to report attendance figures.
Any other tasks that are reasonable and requested by the first team manager and Board.
