Welling United return to action on Saturday with a home game against Weston Super Mare. With the floodlight problems that caused the home game against Wealdstone to kick off early, now fixed, the game at Park View Road will kick off at the traditional time of 3pm.
It was a free weekend for Welling last week, so Manager Steve King will be eager to get the campaign going again as Welling slipped to 4th in the table with other teams profiting from their lack of action.
Despite Weston Super Mare arriving at Park View Road bottom of the table, Steve King has warned against any complancney from his side “They (Weston) have done really well in their last 4 or 5 games and it is going to be a tough, tough game. It does not matter where they are in the league, they have turned a corner and it will be no easy game at all”
