Quinton lands his Krab

Wings boss Brad Quinton has added talented midfielder Che Krabbendam to his ranks ahead of Saturday’s crucial clash away to St. Albans City.

The Dutch-born midfielder attracted interest from Chelsea after a spell at Crystal Palace but a move never materialised. The youngster went on to impress at Staines Town earlier this season, linking up with Wings coach Mahrez Bettache and scoring ten goals in seven appearances before mid-September.

The 20-year-old midfield-maestro also spent eight years in the Anderlecht academy and lists former clubs including Dover Athletic and Burgess Hill Town.

On his move to DA16, Che added:

“I know Maz (First Team Coach, Mahrez Bettache) at from my time at Staines. Maz and Errol (Hassan, Head of Scouting Network) contacted me after other moves broke down and asked if I wanted to come to Welling and get going again”

Che went on to say:

“I just want to take things game-by-game, make sure I give my best every game, impress people and help the Club get as many points as possible”

Welcome to Welling, Che.
