Player Update: Jack Jebb
Welling United have today discovered the news that Jack Jebb will be out for the remainder of the season. Below is a statement on the injury and an interview with Manager Steve King on the big loss of Jack.
“Jack Jebb unfortunately sustained an injury in the game on Saturday to his left knee. Following an MRI scan it has been confirmed he has broken off a piece of articular cartilage from the weight bearing portion of the lateral femoral condyle . He will now undergo arthroscopic surgery to remove the loose fragment and potential microfracture surgery followed by an intensive period of rehabilitation which will keep him out for the remainder of the season”
The club is deeply upset for Jack and we wish him a full recovery as a club we will support him throughout his recuperation.
