NEWS | Warren Feeney signs new Wings contract

Welling United are delighted to announce Warren Feeney has signed a new deal with The Wings for the 22/23 season.


Since joining in March, Warren ensured the clubs survival by picking up three wins, and two draws in the National League South from the final ten games.


Warren said “I am delighted to sign a new contract with Welling United. It is a fantastic club with a great future and I am keen to be part of it”.


“There will be no rest in the off-season, as we have already begun work on building a competitive team for 2022/2023”.


“I would like to thank the board, staff, players, and fans for their support and cannot wait to see all the fans back in pre-season”.


Newly appointed Chairman, Paul Whitehead said “The board was unanimously in Favour of re-appointing Warren as First Team Manager. He came in to the club at a difficult time and managed to pick up the vital points we needed in order to stay up in the National League South. We are all excited to see what he will be able to achieve next season”.


Information about retained players, and staff will be announced shortly.
