Welling United make their return to Park View Road after two weeks on the road as they host St Albans City on Saturday (3pm).

The Wings come into the game unbeaten in six in the league, but will be hoping to convert solitary points into all three following three draws on the bounce as they look to consolidate their position in the play-off places.

Warren Feeney’s men currently occupy sixth place with 19 points from 11 games in what is an extremely tight Vanarama National League South, with just three points separating the final play-off place and 15th.

THE OPPOSITION
After six years at the helm, St Albans City parted company with former boss Ian Allison at the end of September, with David Noble taking up a position of player/interim-manager.

The Saints have four wins, four draws and three defeats under their belt from their 11 games, so far, and find themselves in 12th position in the league.

PRE-MATCH CHAT
Warren Feeney: “David Noble was a good player in his day, I played against him many a time, so it’s great to see he’s been given the chance.

“They had a great result the other night against 10 men which is always hard, so they’ll be coming to us full of confidence, but we’re at home so we’ll have to be on the front foot and keep the unbeaten run going.”

REF WATCH
Andrew Humphries will be the man in the middle on Saturday afternoon. He has taken charge of five games this term, including one in the Papa John’s Trophy.

He last refereed the Wings for the 2-1 victory at Dulwich Hamlet in August.

Humphries will be assisted by Abdul Kadir and Jeffrey Aldous.
