Welling United round up their run of three straight home games with a visit of Hemel Hempstead Town to Park View Road on Tuesday evening (7.45pm).

After a frustrating draw with Chippenham Town on Saturday, the Wings will be hoping to go one better against the Tudors under the lights in DA16.

Firmly positioned in mid-table, Welling have 10 wins, 11 draws and 11 defeats to their name this term and will be eyeing up a top-half finish come the end of the season.

Feeney will be without Amadou Kassarate who will begin his two-match suspension on Tuesday, but he will be hoping to welcome back Taylor Maloney and Taylor Curran who have both missed out with niggles over the last week.

THE OPPOSITION
The Tudors join the Wings in mid-table, occupying 13th position in Vanarama National League South, one place and four point ahead of Welling, having played a game more.

They have recorded 12 wins, nine draws and 12 defeats from their 32 games, so far.

Hemel Hempstead have enjoyed a run of just one defeat in their last nine games under former Wings boss Brad Quinton and come into the midweek clash off the back of a 2-0 victory over promotion-chasing Havant & Waterlooville at the weekend.

PRE-MATCH CHAT
Warren Feeney: “It’s a tough game. They’ve picked up some good results under the coaching staff that we know well here and we’ll approach it as we do every game.

“We’ve had a few boys with niggles and the flu, but fingers crossed, we’ll have all of them, if not the majority of them, back for Tuesday.”

LAST MEETING
Hemel Hempstead Town 2 Welling United 3
The last meeting between the Wings and the Tudors saw Welling stage a stunning, quickfire comeback from two goals down in the reverse fixture back in August.

Josh Castiglione and Jordan Greenidge put the hosts two goals up before half-time, but three goals in five minutes saw the Wings claw back to claim all three points thanks to a Stefan Payne double either side of Antony Papadopoulos’ strike to claim a 3-2 win.

Stefan Payne reels away after scoring the winner in the Wings’ 3-2 victory at Hemel Hempstead in August.

REF WATCH
Shelby Elson will be the man in the middle on Tuesday night. He has refereed 16 games, so far, this term and last officiated the Wings for the 2-2 draw with Havant & Waterlooville at Park View Road back in September which saw him reduce the visitors to 10 men in the 79th minute when he showed a second yellow card to Billy Clifford.
Elson will be assisted by Benjamin McDonald and Daniel Blades.
