Welling United return to league action on Saturday with Havant & Waterlooville coming to Park View Road.

Warren Feeney’s men head into the game unbeaten in five games in all competitions and will be hoping for a fourth National League South victory on the spin against a side who have yet to taste defeat this term, setting up what is sure to be an entertaining encounter in DA16.

THE OPPOSITION
The Hawks are one of just three sides in the division who remain unbeaten, so far, with Paul Doswell’s men winning seven and drawing one of their eight games this term. 

Netting 22 goals along the way, they have also shipped 11 at the other end and are yet to keep a clean sheet away from home, with plenty of goals on show in their last two away games – a 4-3 win at Chelmsford City and 3-2 win at Hampton & Richmond.

Shelby Elson will be the man in the middle on Saturday afternoon. He has officiated five National League South games, so far, this term, dishing out 22 yellow cards and one red. 

Saturday will be the first time he has refereed a Wings fixture and he will be assisted by Joe Burgess and Steven Golup.

Welling are celebrating Non-League Day on Saturday with adult tickets reduced to just £10 when bought in advance online. 

All other tickets are priced £5 including female supporters of all ages as part of Wing’s Women’s Month, U18s, concessions and over 65s, while U11s go FREE when accompanied by an adult.
