Welling United are on their travels again on Saturday for the final away game of their recent three-match stand on the road, with Slough Town the destination.
Following a win, a draw and a defeat in the last three away from home, Warren Feeney will be hoping for three points against the Rebels before returning home for a similar run of three home games on the spin, which begins against Braintree Town on Tuesday evening.
The Wings’ gaffer will have to check on the fitness of a number of his players with Aaron Powell and Rob Howard having missed last weekend’s trip to Oxford City, while Aaron Barnes limped off during the second half.
Meanwhile, Stefan Payne will begin his two-match ban following his sending off at Cheshunt last week, while James Dunne will sit out after accumulating 10 yellow cards.
THE OPPOSITION
Slough come into the game in 16th position in National League South with eight wins, nine draws and 13 defeats from their 30 games, so far.
A run of seven games without defeat saw them distance themselves from the drop zone as they picked up three wins and four draws – a run which came to an end with a 2-0 defeat at 10-man Chelmsford City on Monday night.
LAST TIME OUT
The Wings and the Rebels shared the points in a goalless draw at Park View Road back in November.
Despite controlling proceedings for much of the game, Welling were left frustrated as they failed to convert key opportunities.

Warren Feeney: “We’ve had a good, relaxed week and put our points across. The performances have been good in the last few games – last week was the first defeat in four. We’re in a good place and we’ll have to take that into Saturday.
Slough will be a tough game. They made it really hard for us at home. They’re physical, strong and at home, so we’ll need to make sure we’re on our game.”
Slough boss Scott Davies: “We’re disappointed [after Monday’s defeat to Chelmsford], but if someone had said to us on Boxing Day, this is the run you’ll go on, we would have bitten their hands off.
“Saturday is a massive one against Welling. Every single game is massive for us and if we can pick up all three points at home, we’ll be in a better position come Saturday evening.”
