The games keep coming as the Wings get straight back on the road with a trip to Farnborough on Tuesday evening (7.45pm).

After securing a point at Hungerford Town on Saturday, Welling United will be looking to go one better under the lights at the Easy as HGV Stadium as they continue to eye a place in the top half of the Vanarama National League South table.

Warren Feeney’s men will welcome back Amadou Kassarate who returns to the squad having served his two-match suspension, but the Wings will likely be without Christy Pattisson, who was forced off with a hamstring injury at the weekend during an eye-catching performance, while Rob Howard will be assessed after the right-back limped off in the 74th minute.

THE OPPOSITION
Farnborough are enjoying a steady season in their first campaign back in the sixth tier with the club continuing their journey back from a number of years of financial difficulties.

Having been promoted via the play-offs last season, the Yellows have registered 15 wins, seven draws and 10 defeats from their 32 games, so far and sit in 10th position, four points off the play-off places.

They come into the game off the back of a 2-1 victory at Oxford City on Saturday and have won two, lost two and drawn one of their last five.

PRE-MATCH CHAT
Warren Feeney: “We have to build on the clean sheet (on Saturday). We’ve got to dust them down and make sure the recovery is good ahead of Tuesday. It’s great as a player when games come thick and fast, but we have to make sure they’re ready for it.”

Farnborough boss, Spencer Day: “It was fantastic result (on Saturday) so we’ll enjoy it, but we have to go again on Tuesday night – we need the supporters to turn up en-masse.

“Welling are an incredibly well-funded side, they have some fantastic players, they’re nearly all pros and full-time and we know that they’re away form is better than their home form.”
