First signings announced

Wings boss Brad Quinton has secured his first signatures of the close season with the first competitive match just under three weeks away.

Firstly, we’d like to welcome back some familiar faces. Midfielder Montel Agyemang embarks on his third season at PVR and is joined by a couple of colleagues from last year’s squad. Nathan Green and Anthony Cook both left the club earlier in the summer but we are delighted to announce that both have agreed terms with the gaffer for the upcoming season.

Also joining the Club is central defender Quba Gordon. 22-year-oldQuba had youth spells with QPR and Boreham Wood before a spell at Maldon & Tiptree where he was a pivotal figure in the heart of defence as The Jammers reached the 2nd round of the FA Cup –  a club record, and had a 14-point lead in the BetVictor Isthmian North when the season came to an end in March.

Forward Rowan Liburd has also joined the Wings after featuring in pre-season. The 6ft 6in striker has played internationally for Saint Kitts and Nevis and has played professionally with the likes of Reading, Wycombe Wanderers and Stevenage. More recently, Rowan has featured for Hereford and had a loan spell at Dartford.
