| WSU Player of the Month |
| The winner of the WSU Player of the Month - Sponsored by Rascal's Castles for February was Charlie Mitten. Charlie Mitten was presented with his champagne award by club President Eric Brackstone at the game against Havant & Waterlooville.  Wings Manager Jamie Day was also given the Man of the Match award, chosen by match sponsor Andrew Nicholson & Friends at the Havant & Waterlooville game.  |
| WSU March Quiz Night |
| March's WSU Quiz Night saw 11 teams converge on the Wings Bar to compete in a very open competition, helped by rounds as diverse as the Winter Olympics and Cornwall and a Marathon Round on television advertising slogans. By the end of 8 rounds and ahead of the Marathon round, the Ken Dodd's Dad's Dog Dead team including Russ Prebble led a team made up of Russ's dad, Ken by 78.5 points to 77. Prebble senior's team would not be denied in the Marathon round scoring 23 points to 19, winning overall by 100 points to 97.5. £20 stand-up bingo winners were Dave McKenna (who promptly donted half his winnings back to the WSU - thanks a lot, Ken) and Annette Relf. 11 teams for March's quiz was quite comfortable and those that were there will no doubt want to come back for April's quiz on 9th. So you might have to move quickly to get a team together, come down and join in the fun! You can book your team by visitng the WSU in the Club Shop on matchdays or ringing 07...  |

| Band Night II |
| Last Friday saw another great night of music in the Wings Bar, provided by two local bands, The Feelers and Nelly’s Heroes. A goodish crowd enjoyed an evening of Blues, Rock and Punk music by both bands, with Rolling Stones, Johnny Kidd, Sex Pistols and Steppenwolf covers catering for all tastes. The joint was really jumping! The real ale on the night was Young’s Kew Gold, and it slipped down very nicely, thank you, with Barry and Dave doing great work interpreting drink orders at the bar in spite of the decibel level! A big thank you to Patsy for not only organising the raffle, but, together with Barry Oakley, donating the prizes. On behalf of the WSU and WUFC, we are once again indebted to Sy and Nelly’s Heroes for organising, and publicising this event, and to both bands for providing such an enjoyable evening.
