Just days after being released by the Wings, Omari Coleman scored two goals against his former club to continue Bromley's fine run of form at home with a 2-0 win. A goal in each half from Coleman was enough to secure the three points for the Lilywhites and condemn the Wings to another defeat.

Welling had started brightly with Richard Carpenter having a free-kick deflected over and Sam Gargan causing problems up front. However, as so often this season, the visitors gifted the opposition the lead. A poor back pass from Carpenter was picked up by Omari Coleman who calmly slotted past Jamie Turner.

Coleman was denied a quick second moments later when the striker was flagged for offside after prodding home a loose ball. 20 minutes in and Mark Corneille then had a volley well saved at the far post.

The Wings dominated the remainder of the half but they failed to create any clear-cut chances. The closest they came to equalising was 7 minutes before the break when Gargan headed over.

Into the second period and Bromley quickly doubled their lead. Two minutes after the restart and Coleman, on his debut, bagged his brace after hitting an excellent shot past Turner.

Welling's only major threat was Gargan and the young striker had a low shot superbly tipped round the post on 51 minutes. Sonny Cobbs had a late effort deflected inches wide but the Wings just could not find a way back.

Welling welcome Weston-super-Mare to Park View Road on Saturday, kick-off 3.00 pm.

Come on you Wings!
