The club would like to thank E.Coomes for their sponsorship over the countless seasons and wish them all well for the future. The club are actively seeking a new sponsor and hope to announce one very soon. In other news, the Tonbridge Angels match has been moved to Sunday August 2nd, kick-off 1pm. |

Welling United can today confirm the signing of Anthony Finn from AFC Wimbledon. The 26-year-old pacy winger can play on either flanks and also in attack as a striker. Finn's playing history includes spells at Hayes, Gravesend & Northfleet, Colliers Wood United and Metropolitan Police. Full Story |

Welling United can today confirmed that Loui Fazakerley has re-signed with the club. Boss Andy Ford is said to be very pleased to have added the attack minded player to his squad for the new season. Loui won the 2008-09 goal of the season award for his strike against Bath City. |

Welling have signed 22-year-old forward James Lawson from fellow Blue Square South side Chelmsford City. The young striker started his career with Southend, scoring inside 10 minutes on his first full debut for the Shrimpers against Oldham Athletic. Has also had spells at Grimsby, Bournemouth, Dagenham & Redbridge and Grays Athletic. |
